Tonight's board meeting was held at Mancinos at 7:00. Those in attendance were:
Craig Trautman, Rhonda Trautman, Linn Larkin, Lora Garret, Daniel McCarley, Lawrence Nyeken, Candice Ragle, and myself.
The meeting was held in order to discuss any issues on the winter indoor soccer league to be held starting next month. It was brought to everyone's attention that a lot of interest has been generated with many people saying that they have a team but no forms and money have been turned in as of yet. It was suggested that the focus of the rest of the week to be intense advertisement and reminding people. The following duties were assigned:
Craig Trautman: Advertise through Jobe one more time
Rhonda Trautman: Contact WCLU about airing the message again
Lora Garret: Contact Glasgow Middle School and High School
Linn Larkin: Contact the Christian Academy and Barren County Schools
Daniel McCarley: Follow up with the Glasgow boys team
Lawrence Nyken: Follow up with the Barren County teams
It was also brought to the attention of everyone that adjustable plastic goals have been purchased with left over funds. Craig stated that we are cleared to play all our games at the Bunche School and that insurance has been taken care of.
Future goals and plans were also brought into conversation such as planning for next Spring, administration duties, and hosting a large recreational tournament.
It was also decided that starting next month, monthly board meetings will be held on the second Monday of every month at 7:00 PM at Mancinos. A monthly newsletter will also be published at the beginning of every month.
